About Vedra hotel

Hotel construction

During the decade of the 60's, Vedra hotel opened its doors for the first time. At first, it only had 6 rooms, but grew and over time reaches 30 it currently has.

The name Vedra

The hotel's name refers to one of the highest islets surrounding Ibiza: the island of Es Vedra, which 375 meters above sea level is situated to the southeast of the island.

Es Vedra islet

This impressive rock can be seen from the cliffs of Cala d'Hort. It is a magical place at sunset.

The coastal mountain ranges of the peninsula are clearly visible from here —especially in winter— the clearest days.

Ask at reception the best way to get to Es Vedra, and what precautions to take.

Splendour in the hotel

Like the island, the Vedra hotel highlighted initially by its height —it was one of the first buildings of three floors in San Antonio— between the 70's and 80's, offering fantastic views over the bay of San Antonio.

After the tourist boom, San Antonio no longer is a village of just 1,000 inhabitants to become, with more than 15,000 residents in one of the most important resorts of Ibiza.

Gradually, the hotel left to stand out from the new buildings to be leaving, after their glory years, the San Antonio Vedra islet.

The new generation

Now, the second generation of our family always remains friendly and personal service to our clients, always striving to improve comfort and services.

Es Vedrá

The Torre d'Es Savinar (located on the highest cliffs of Cala d'Hort point) offers the best view of Es Vedra islet.
